Paramount Foster Care provides supportive and child-focused services that ensure longevity of positive, safe relationships and meaningful care. We are a team of experienced professionals who are passionate about improving the life-chances of children and young people that come into care or are already in care. We are committed to working with foster carers' to provide them with the support they need to ensure that children and young people have every opportunity to thrive in a loving and caring environment.
Paramount Foster Care’s mission is to provide a high-quality fostering service for children/young people in care, their foster families and to responsible local authorities.
Our aim is to transform the lives of children and young people placed with our foster carers; enabling them to overcome any loss or trauma that they may have experienced. Whilst, aiding each child/young person to form secure attachments, build resilience, realise their unique potential and flourish whilst in placement.
Our objectives are to:
➢ provide stable fostering placements for Children in Care
➢ recruit, train and retain foster carers from diverse backgrounds; ensuring a range of appropriate placements are made for children and young people
➢ support, supervise and provide accessible training to carers so that they are able to meet the individual needs of the children and young people placed with them
➢ carefully match the needs of children and young people with suitable foster carers
➢ ascertain the wishes and feelings of a child or young person, to promote participation and ensure they have a say in their care plan
➢ seek to maximise a child/young person’s outcomes in all areas of their development
➢ provide opportunities for children and young people to remain with their siblings and promote contact with the birth family and significant others during a placement and to facilitate this as appropriate
➢ promote diversity and equality within the service and to recognise the importance of a child’s ethnic origin, religion, cultural and linguistic background; and to consider fully a child’s gender, sexuality and any disability they may have
➢ consult with children and young people and foster carers. Ensure their views are listened to and considered in services and future planning
➢ engender a culture of continuous review and improvement and where applicable using research to inform practice
➢ adopt a culture which will reward and celebrate the good work of our staff, foster carers and children/young people in our care.

We are proud of the support we give to carers and their families. To ensure that everyone in our network can provide safe care, we offer guidance throughout the application process from the moment you enquire.
Paramount Foster Care have access to psychologists, therapists and counselling services. Our peer-to-peer network can also link carers to other families within our agency.
Training is of importance to Paramount Foster Care. We train foster carers prior to approval; ensuring they feel qualified to care for any child/young person placed with them.
In addition our training offer covers attachment theory, positive relationships with children / young people and other critical areas of development.
We value our foster carers and aim to make their careers future-proof. Our team are on-hand to offer 24/7 advice and guidance, while supported breaks ensure carers have the flexibility to make fostering a sustainable profession.
